The site benefits from such an existing mature hedgerow, and so the concept for a high quality home with a visible first floor and entrance approach was devised. Careful placement of the building has also created a generous rear garden and terrace which will act as a delightful evening sun-trap
Referencing the local vernacular, a high quality red brick with contemporary detailing and window arrangements will create interest and character. At the same time, the constrained building forms will improve efficiencies dramatically both during construction and by reducing energy consumption when in-use.
The layout, arranged around a generous external terrace, allows multiple opportunities for shared family moments, socialising with friends, or finding places for privacy.
